Outline of the workshop:

The purpose of this workshop is to demonstrate intermediate and advanced use of Twitter for business; accordingly, delegates are expected to have some experience of Twitter already (such as attending Choosing and Using the Right Social Media for your Business). As such, it explores the use of analytics, advertising, tools, and integrations at length.

Bullet points of what the workshop will cover:

• ensuring your Twitter strategy relates to your business objectives

• producing a compelling profile: your biography, imagery, colourway, hours, and more

• using moments to curate posts: what this offers you and your followers

• essential use of lists for research, branding, promotion, and more

• creating videos, graphics, and polls for your posts

• making the most of Twitter cards: introduction, types, purpose, first steps

• using link shorteners to track your success and enhance your brand

• moving beyond Promote Mode with remarketing, awareness, conversion, and more

• useful analytics: what matters (and what doesn’t) in Twitter Analytics and other stats

• the most useful tools and integrations you’ve never heard of: Edgar, Rebrandly, Sniply

• changes you need to make on your website to make the most of Twitter.

Summary of key learning points:

• fine tuning your profile

• harnessing Twitter’s extra features – such as moments, lists, and cards

• making use of third party apps: Edgar, Rebrandly, Sniply, and more

• advertising on Twitter made easy, with Promote Mode

• ensuring your website integrates with Twitter.
